Newham NDP is moving its travelling The Working Women of Newham’ exhibition to Beckton Library from 5th April to 10th May, with a public event planned for Thursday 18th April at 12pm. A selection of original photography, film and memorabilia will be featured from Tate & Lyle and Trebor factories, documenting the role of women in Newham’s post- war manufacturing industries.

Newham NDP has a vacancy for a Coordinator/Trainer for our Good Neighbours Service: it is a key opportunity to develop an innovative and exciting programme for an experienced Trainer, ideally in IT and with an interest in the Arts or Heritage, as part of our service to older people and disabled people in Newham and the volunteers who support them.

Exhibition opens July 5th – July 31st with a ‘Private View’ featuring musicians, artists & poets on July 12th 6:30pm-8:30pm
